  1. see my comment below... i haven't seen any of these films, but if you like them, they're probably excellent... i've been trying to remember a film i thought was memorable and the only one that comes to mind is "King of Hearts", about a soldier in WW2 who takes refuge in an insane asylum and what happens to him there....

    1. If you like/ don't mind documentaries, I recommend these films.
      As I know you don't like depressing, negative stuff, the nice ones would be Man on Wire and Searching for Sugar Man.
