If I would to name my own ...What a terrific career! If I would to name my own favourites, they'd be Double Indemnity, The Lost Weekend and Sunset Boulevard, which seem to me to form an unofficial trilogy. All three are dark films, featuring at the centre a self-destructive protagonist.<br /><br />And I find myself very attached to The private Life of Sherlock Holmes, which manages to be both hysterically funny and strangely sad and wisful,Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
